Travel Italy With Me!
One of my favourite times of the year is when I get the opportunity to lead intimate culinary tours of Italy, sharing the regions, people, and flavours that have shaped my cooking. These journeys go beyond the plate—exploring local markets, family producers, vineyards, and kitchens, with plenty of long lunches along the way.
This year, I’m excited to be joined by my good friend Giovanni Pilu as we host tours through Venice and Tuscany, celebrating the unique food cultures of each region.
Join me in Italy as I share the food, people, and places that have shaped the way I cook.
Five-Day Culinary Tour of Venice | 28 September – 3 October 2026
Join renowned chefs Giovanni Pilu and Alessandro Pavoni for an exclusive five-day culinary journey through Venice, designed for just 12 guests. Staying in a private luxury palazzo in the historic Castello district, this bespoke experience celebrates exceptional food, local culture and the rhythms of Venetian life.
Led by Giovanni and Alessandro, guests explore the city, its islands and lagoon through market visits, meetings with local artisans, regional wine tastings and immersive, hands-on cooking using outstanding seasonal ingredients. The palazzo, set on a quiet canal and surrounded by Venetian landmarks, offers breathtaking views and a tranquil retreat just 20 minutes from San Marco.
Stepping away from the obvious Venice, this intimate tour offers a rare opportunity to experience the city through the eyes of two chefs whose passion, camaraderie and love of cooking create a relaxed, engaging and unforgettable culinary escape.

Five-Day Culinary Tour of Tuscany | 5 October – 10 October 2026
And while I am in Italy in 2026, I will also be heading to the hills of Tuscany. Join me for a five-day, small-group culinary tour alongside myself and Giovanni Pilu, based at the beautifully restored Podere Rombolino in Val d’Orcia.
Limited to 12 guests, the experience blends visits to local villages and producers with tastings of wine, cheese, truffles and olive oil, as well as hands-on cooking using seasonal ingredients. With plenty of time around the table, the tour offers a relaxed, behind-the-scenes way to discover Tuscany through the people, places and food that define the region.
